Privacy Policy
Choice Limiter for Forms™ - Limit by Response's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Choice Limiter for Forms™ - Limit by Response is a Google Forms add-on that helps users manage choice limits and related notifications for their forms. Choice Limiter for Forms™ - Limit by Response is developed, published, and supported by App Would Work.
Google User Data We Access
Choice Limiter for Forms™ - Limit by Response accesses Google user data only when you install or use the add-on in a Google Form. Depending on the features you use, the add-on may access the following Google user data:
- Google Form metadata, including the active form's ID, title, question titles, question IDs, question types, settings, and configured choice values for supported multiple choice, checkbox, and dropdown items.
- Google Form responses for the active form, including submitted answers to supported choice questions, response IDs, and response timestamps, so the add-on can calculate option counts.
- Google Form content that the add-on updates, including choice lists and the form description, when it removes full choices or displays count information.
- Your Google account email address, when needed to identify the current add-on user, provide a default notification recipient, send configured email notifications, support billing flows, or respond to support requests.
- Add-on trigger information associated with the active form, such as whether a form-submit trigger is installed for Choice Limiter for Forms™ - Limit by Response.
How We Use Google User Data
Choice Limiter for Forms™ - Limit by Response uses Google user data only to provide and maintain the add-on features you request. Specifically, we use Google user data to:
- Read the active Google Form's supported questions and choices so you can configure limits for those choices.
- Store your limit configuration, including enabled status, question IDs, question titles, option values, maximum counts, notification settings, and reset schedule settings.
- Count submitted form responses for configured choice questions and keep per-option counts for the active form.
- Update the active form by removing or marking choices that have reached their configured limits and by updating the form description with count information when you request that feature.
- Create, check, run, or remove Google Apps Script triggers used to apply limits after form submissions or on configured reset schedules.
- Send email notifications to the recipients you configure when a choice reaches its limit. Notification emails may include the form title, question title, option value, current count, maximum count, and time.
- Connect your email address with billing or subscription status when you use paid features or billing links.
- Diagnose errors, maintain security, prevent abuse, and respond to user support requests.
We do not use Google user data or form data for advertising, retargeting, interest-based advertising, selling to data brokers, determining creditworthiness, lending purposes, creating unrelated databases, or training artificial intelligence models.
Data Disclosure and Sharing
We do not sell Google user data or form data. We do not share, transfer, or disclose Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide user-requested functionality, comply with applicable law, or protect the security and integrity of the add-on.
When you use billing or subscription features, limited account and billing information, such as your email address and subscription status, may be processed through our payment provider to provide those billing features. Google Form questions, choices, and responses are not sold or used for advertising.
Data Protection
We use access controls and Google Apps Script platform protections to help protect the confidentiality of Google user data and form data. Access is limited to what is needed to provide and maintain Choice Limiter for Forms™ - Limit by Response's user-facing features.
Data in transit is protected using HTTPS with TLS (1.2 or higher). Data associated with add-on operation is stored on Google-managed infrastructure with platform security protections, including encryption at rest provided by Google services.
We apply least-privilege access practices for operational access and limit data handling to authorized maintenance and support needs. We also maintain technical monitoring and incident-response procedures to investigate, contain, and remediate security events.
Data Storage
Choice Limiter for Forms™ - Limit by Response stores add-on configuration and count data using Google Apps Script services associated with the add-on user and the active form. This stored data may include the form ID, enabled status, supported question IDs and titles, option values, maximum counts, current counts, counted response IDs, notification settings, reset schedule settings, and notification history used to avoid duplicate limit emails.
Choice Limiter for Forms™ - Limit by Response does not store full Google Form response content outside the data needed to count configured choices and avoid counting the same response more than once. Google services are governed by Google's own terms and privacy policies.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain add-on configuration and count data only for as long as needed to provide Choice Limiter for Forms™ - Limit by Response's functionality or as required by law. You may delete add-on configuration from your forms, stop using the add-on, or revoke the add-on's Google account permissions at any time.
To request deletion of data associated with your use of Choice Limiter for Forms™ - Limit by Response, contact appwould.work@gmail.com. After we verify your request, we will process deletion within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.
Your Choices
You can stop using the add-on at any time, remove its configuration from your forms, or revoke its Google account permissions from your Google account settings.
